ACCOMMODATION & FOOD OPTIONS

A variety of accommodation and food options are available to suit all budgets, from staying on board and a pub supper to private clubs and bespoke a la carte menus.
Typically crews and hosts join together the late afternoon before raceday for welcome drinks opposite the West Cowes Red Jet ferry terminal.
Guests then have the picturesque and historic option of staying in the Royal Ocean Racing Club rooms or The Fountain Hotel.
Client hosts tend to stay in the nearby Royal Ocean Racing Club Disrespect Crew House on the High Street.
Supper often is a bespoke meal or BBQ inside or on the terrace of the Royal Ocean Racing Club with its superb views over the Solent - weather dependent.
On race day – all gather outside Cowes Yacht Haven for coffee and bacon / sausage rolls before the safety briefing and the introduction to their race yachts.
Lunch is normally taken between the races, and subject to the weather will be on board, anchored up in Osbourne Bay, where Queen Victoria bathed each day.
Celebratory post mortem drinks and prizegiving will be held back at Cowes Yacht Haven or in the historic Anchor Pub - weather dependent.
